EquityPlus II: This is an EquityPlus II School
Eastway Middle School has approximately 20 different countries represented in its student population. It has a large English as a Second Language program. Student activities such as the Multi-Cultural Club, Minority Achievement and the Career Exploration Club celebrate the school's diverse population. French and Spanish language courses are offered.

The school's mission is to promote learning experiences that enable each child to become literate, healthy, organized, culturally aware and resourceful. The faculty and staff strive to maintain a safe, disciplined environment that emphasizes pride, dignity and respect. Students are nurtured academically, emotionally and socially.
