March of Dimes

Interact Club at Charlotte Country Day School

Charlotte North Rotary holds fundraisers and provides hands-on service work for Heal Charlotte.  The group furnishes housing and afterschool education, recreation, and sports program for the homeless and underprivileged youth.

Twice during the year, CNR members plant trees for Trees Charlotte.  The goal is to restore the tree canopy in Charlotte.  The club also holds fundraisers for the group.

The club provides fundraising support and help with projects.  In Charlotte, the March of Dimes strives to provide assistance to new moms and their babies.

Charlotte North Rotary supports and works with students on service projects in the Charlotte area.

Shamrock Gardens Elementary School

Charlotte North Rotary is a supporter of Shamrock Gardens Elementary School. Charlotte North has sponsored Opera Express at the school. This is a unique cultural offering that school-children will enjoy for the first time in their lives.

  Opera Carolina

The club raises funds for Opera Carolina to preserve the arts in Charlotte.  Members work with Opera Express to provide education concerning opera to grammar school students.

Community Service Awards

Each year, the Charlotte North Rotary Club provides Community Service Awards to the Police Officer, Firefighter, Teacher, EMS Worker, and Healthcare Worker of the Year.  Recipients are selected by their respective organization.  The award includes a framed certificate and an honorarium check.  The club holds a fundraiser for the awards each year.

Rotary Youth Exchange

Charlortte North Rotary supports Rotary Youth Exchange students, who represent tomorrow's global citizens and leaders. Our club will sponsor exchange students visiting from abroad as well as Charlotte students studying in other countries.
